Lodging
Kennicott Glacier Lodge
Built in 1987, the Kennicott Glacier Lodge is a replica of one of the historic mining buildings from the copper mining boom town days. Warm atmosphere, friendly service and an incredible view. Located near the center of the ghost town of Kennecott. The main lodge features glacier and mountain-view rooms and shared baths. The South Wing features larger rooms with glacier views and private baths. Guests eat in a large family style dining room that serves excellent breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. One of the highlights of the lodge is the artfully placed Kennecott artifacts that adorn the walls. Read up on the price of bread in 1920 while waiting for your lunch and laugh at the 1930 advertisements for laxitives while on the toilet!
